This site delivers training courses to volunteers and staff of SNA Canada. It is private: only people who have been invited can sign in and watch.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, your name, and whether Google has verified that email. We store your email and name so we know who you are and can show you the courses meant for you.

While you watch, we record which lesson you are on and how far through it you are, so the video resumes where you stopped and so a course lead can see who has completed their training. We also record when you last signed in.

We do not receive or store your Google password. We ask Google for nothing beyond your basic profile and email — no access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or any other Google service.

Why we collect it

To control who can see course material that is not public, to let you resume a video, and to let the people running the training confirm it has been completed.

Who can see it

Course administrators at SNA Canada can see your email address, when you last signed in, and your progress through the courses you have been given. Nobody outside SNA Canada sees any of it. We do not sell it, advertise against it, or share it with third parties.

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests and stores the database and video on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Your account and progress are kept while you have access to the training. Sign-in sessions last thirty days and are deleted when they expire, when you sign out, or when your access is withdrawn. Ask us to delete your record and we will.
